We Demand
Better.

Authentication certificates used to mean something. Now they are just pieces of paper printed on a home inkjet.

The industry relies on "opinions" rather than data. We are changing that. Autograph Passport combines forensic ink analysis, high-resolution comparative photography, and immutable digital ledger technology to create a certificate that cannot be faked, swapped, or altered.

When you see the Autograph Passport seal, it means the item has undergone rigorous, documented physical examination. We do not authenticate via email. We do not rubber-stamp bulk lots.

Common Questions

What happens if I lose my physical certificate? +
Because every AP certification is recorded on an immutable ledger with high-resolution scans of the item, the physical certificate can be reissued for a small fee after reverifying the physical item matches the database.
Do you authenticate from photos? +
No. We offer an initial "likely pass/fail" opinion based on high-res photos to save you shipping costs, but a formal Autograph Passport certificate is ONLY issued after physical, microscopic examination of the ink and medium.
How long does authentication take? +
Standard processing is 14 business days from receipt. Expedited 48-hour service is available for high-value items requiring immediate clearance for auction.

Our Mission

We built Autograph Passport because we were tired of seeing honest collectors defrauded by sophisticated forgers and lazy authenticators. We believe that provenance should be mathematical, physical, and irrefutable.
